Nail Art Tutorial – How To Make ‘Summer’ Nail Design

Hello everyone!

Here is another one colorful and fun nail art design – a great way to show our mood and eccentricity in the summer :)

 Summer Design

Advise: this summer design is very easy and quick because we’ll make it mostly using a sponge, which will make the design dry fast. So you just need eager and nice music! No experience or steady hand required. Have fun!

Step by Step Tutorial

Products:

- Nail Polishes for the background: yellow, dark blue, red
- Nail Polishes for decoration: yellow, white, dark green
- To seal the design: transparent blue glitter polish, Top Coat
- Additional tools: dotting tool, small sponge, cotton pad, napkin

 Materials

Design:

1. Polish all your nails in white. This will ensure that all the colors we will use will be bright and saturated.

2. Take 3-4 nail polishes of your choice to create the background of your design. I recommend colors, which create nice third color when overlapped. In by example I use yellow, blue and red, which create green, purple and orange when they overlap.
Put some yellow on the sponge and apply the color on the down 1/3 side of the nails. Repeat this action with the blue and the red colors. With each new color overlap small part of the previous one to male an overflow. You can put small amount of the red polish over the yellow one. You can achieve this design by using as many colors as you wish, depending on the length of your nails.

3. Decorate your design with dots and lines in different colors and shapes. You can create all kind of motives – from whole palms to single flowers. It’s important to wait all the decorations to dry completely before continuing with the next step.

4. Cover all nails with a glittering nail polish. Make sure you use more of the product in order not to smash your creations. Let everything dry.

5. Apply top coat.

DONE!

Hope you’ll like the design and will try it out! Its biggest advantage is its simplicity and quickness, while being very spectacular and distinct in the same time.

Greetings!
